BlackSmith Products Ltd Terms and Conditions of Sale and General Information.
By ordering from us (clicking 'buy it now,' 'add to basket,' 'checkout' etc) you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
1: Item condition.
1.1 All goods are brand new and will be received in the same brand new condition as pictured unless otherwise stated in the item description and item specifics above.
2: Dispatch time.
2.1: Royal Mail Services: Your order will be sent the same working day (Monday to Friday) if ordered before 3pm. Orders received after 3pm are sent the following working day (Monday to Friday). Note: In peak times we may require more time to process your order.
2.2: Parcelforce (courier services): Please order before 1pm if you need your order to be sent by Parcelforce on the same working day. Orders received after 1pm are sent the following working day (Monday to Friday).
2.3: Exceptions to standard dispatch time: Orders can’t be dispatched during special events, bank holidays etc when post is not collected. Note: During peak times Parcelforce deliveries require an additional working day for delivery (December).
3: Delivery time.
3.1 UK delivery. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 24 which will aim to deliver within 1 working day however please allow 1 to 3 working days. Next day guaranteed before 1pm delivery by Royal Mail is available. Please see postage details for more information on pricing.
3.2 Additional notes for UK delivery for Saturday. If ordering next day delivery by royal mail on Friday your order will be automatically upgraded to ensure delivery on Saturday morning when selecting this service. Please kindly note this service is not offered by all sellers.
3.3 International delivery - Airmail services (not a tracked service). Goods can take up to 21 days to deliver. Goods heading for western Europe deliver within 5 working days. Goods heading for eastern Europe take 9 working days to deliver. Goods heading for the rest of the world take up to 21 days to delivery. Please bear this in mind when purchasing. Tracked delivery is available when selecting international recorded.
3.4 International delivery - further notes. Some goods can not be shipped overseas, these include batteries and large body shells over 60cm in length.
3.5 International delivery - customs charges. Most total order values will be below the minimum customs charges for, but the minimum amount may differ between different countries and your order may get charged. We want you to be aware of this. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. Customs fees are normally charged by the freight company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional delivery charges.
3.6 Not received your order
If your order has not arrived within the above times please let us know. Some goods maybe too large to fit through the letterbox or need a signature, please look out for a 'not at home' or 'red' card in your mail if your were not available during the delivery time.
4: Combining Orders.
4.1 If you would like to order more than 1 item then you will qualify to combine your order to save you £££s of postage. You would only need to pay the highest individual postal cost out of all the items you want to purchase once. E.g. If you wanted Item A with a £2.00 postage cost and Item B with a £3.00 postage cost you would only have to pay £3.00 to have all your items delivered saving you £2.00. The same posting rule applies for any number of items you want to order. Please use 'add to basket' feature.
5: Found a cheaper deal?
5.1 If so then let us know and we will consider lowering our price. Our only terms are the seller must be a business owner, the listing online for more than 120 days (or has feedback to show the seller has sold the item more than 5 times), website address is provided and they are uk seller. Note: We can not match international seller prices.
6: Contact Us.
6.1 Have a question, concern or a problem with the item please contact. Please contact us before leaving feedback as we will do our best to resolve any issues with you. We aim to respond within 24 hours Monday to Friday. Please kindly bear in mind we are not available during the weekends, bank holidays or special events.
6.2 Opening times: Monday to Friday. We are not available on weekends, bank holidays or special events. Phone lines open Tuesday to Friday - 10am to 3pm.
6.3 Collections: Not accepted and will be refused.
7: Returns.
7.1 Return time. You have a 60 day guarantee that starts from the date the invoice is made.
7.2 Refund amount. A full refund will be issued no matter what the issue. A full refund is defined as the full item price + postage. Note: free postage value is £0.
7.3 Return to sender postage charges either way are not refunded except if the item is faulty or sent in error (please contact us). Please contact us for our free uk postage returns label.
7.4 Refunds. Return funds will be sent back to the original payment method or by cheque if paid by postal order or cheque.
7.5 Extent of use for returns. Please do check the item before use, but once used we can only accept the item back if faulty (must be informed within the first 3 working days by e-mail). Please ensure to test goods before modifying or using them. Modified and used goods can not be returned.
8: Payment methods and Invoicing.
8.1 PayPal: Accepted for all transactions.
8.2 Cheque or postal order: Restricted to the UK mainland.
8.3 Currency: GBP / Pounds Sterling accepted unless otherwise stated on the listing.
8.4 Credit or Debit Card: Please call 01293 863 411 between Tuesday to Friday 10am to 3pm
8.5 Please pay within 10 working days. If you need more time or would like to cancel the transaction please let us know.
8.6 VAT UK and EU Invoices. Business customers requiring VAT invoices please note we are a "business to consumer" type business. We will always include a VAT invoice for tax purposes however we will be unable to remove VAT. VAT can be reclaimed using your VAT return.
8.7 Listings in other currencies will be converted to GBP for invoice purposes.
9: General terms.
9.1 Item listed will be provided (what you see in the picture is what you receive). We are a UK based company with UK based stock for the UK. Please bear this in mind when purchasing overseas. For example, chargers supplied will only be suitable for UK 3 pin 220-240v sockets. Unless otherwise stated no other charger type will be supplied other than stated here.
9.2 The purchaser acknowledges and understands that they alone assume all risk and liability for personal injury or damage to property resulting from the buyers' use of this product.
9.3 All goods sold by BlackSmith Products Ltd require supervision and are suitable for ages over 16. Improper use or not using whilst under supervision will cause danger. Goods may contain small parts and bags can be a chocking hazard.
9.4 Goods are sent to the paypal address used at checkout. If you need the item sent to an alternative address please add it to your paypal account and select it at checkout.
9.5 All listing content and pictures are Copyright BlackSmith Products Limited. All logos and trademarks are used by permission and remain property to their respective owners.
10.0 Privacy Policy. BlackSmith Products will only use details provided at checkout to process the order. This may include passing information onto our delivery courier (such as royal mail, parcelforce, parcel2go etc) to deliver your order. We will only contact you if you have given us consent to do so, if we need to inform you of an issue, if you have subscribed to a newsletter or to inform you an item has arrived back in stock that you have requested. BlackSmith Products does not sell or share information to any 3rd parties other than to complete our obligations to you or to comply under the law.
10.1.1 Platforms such as ebay and amazon may contact you with offers with our products included in the e-mail/letter. Please note these are not sent from BlackSmith Products. Please see the platfroms privacy policy for more information.
10.2 After your order has been processed we will retain your information for tax purposes. This information may include; name, address, e-mail, phone number, delivery information, item purchased and value. Your contact information can be deleted. Please contact us if you would like your information to be removed from our database.
10.3 Payment information is retained by paypal / payment service and not provided to BlackSmith Products. Please contact paypal / payment service for further information on their privacy policy.
10.4 Under the GDPR guidance you may have your details removed after we have processed your order. Please contact us, otherwise we will retain information for tax purposes. Your details will not be used for any other purpose other than to meet our legal & tax obligations.
10.5 Under the GDPR guidance you may ask for what details we hold. Please contact us. Also see 10.2 and 10.3 above.
10.6 Cancelled before dispatch orders will not have information collected.
10.7 If calling to pay for an order your card information is destroyed after the transaction is completed. Payment information is retained by our service provider; paypal.
